NATHANIEL'S

Believe me my dear friends, Nathaniel’s has got delicious treasures inside waiting to be bought and taken home or to give as "pasalubongs" to friends.  You will find the store and resto along the San Fernando highway going to NLEX, you won't miss the green signage.

What always happens everytime we visit grandma in Bacolor? We never fail to stop at Nathaniel's on our way back to bring back boxes of their creamy Buko Pandan and the crunchy Siomai. Crunchy Siomai? Yes dear friends, I don't really know the right words to explain how it tastes, point is it tastes damn good and chewy with a crunch...this may be due to the fact that it has water chestnuts at the bottom...before you complete chewing and swallowing the tasty meat, you get to feel another tasty sensation with the yummy chestnut crunch. And the secret to their Buko Pandan? It's the native Carabao. Yes, instead of regular milk, these culinary geniuses use freshly harvested Carabao's milk to produce the creamy difference...believe me, its nothing we taste in Manila.

There are of course other delicacies that they sell such as the Gulaman drink (where I always get 2 bottles for myself), Puto, Sylvannas, biscuits, and other such sweets. They also have a restaurant inside if you want to eat right away. The price range of their food is very affordable. 75-200 for the regular packs of goodies and 300-450 for the big packs/boxes.

This is the entrance of Nathaniel's.

The  inside of the store. You can also see my grandmother, the one wearing blue picking out goodies to buy and eat at home.

Their Buko Pandan in smaller containers for those who would like to enjoy it by themselves.

Here we have theire packed siomais. I'm always craving for them. They come in three packages but of course I always prefer the one with the biggest quantity. As the saying goes "The More, the Merrier."

Let's have a feast with Puto and Kutsinta! Puto is great to partner with Dinuguan which is a delicious blood stew.

They also have Sylvannas with just the right sweetness.

Here are some of their other goodies and their lovely staff.
